Highlights of Our Transformer Manufacturing Process
We source raw materials only from trusted suppliers, including State Grid of China and China Southern Power Grid partners. Transformer cores use high-permeability silicon steel sheets from Baowu Steel and other top-three domestic producers, while insulation relies on DuPont Nomex® paper and Vishay® components for superior thermal stability.
All materials undergo magnetic loss and thermal class testing, meeting IEC 60641 standard to ensure every transformer is built with certified quality.
Our transformer core lamination process uses precision CNC cutting and automated stacking machines. High-grade silicon steel sheets are carefully laminated and stress-relieved through annealing, reducing no-load loss and noise. In the transformer winding process, automated coil winding machines guarantee accurate turns (±0.02mm), uniform tension, and excellent insulation spacing. The processes strictly follow the IEEE C57.12.00 standard.
For dry-type transformers, we adopt high-temperature transformer insulation materials such as DuPont Nomex® paper and other Class F/H rated components, providing excellent thermal endurance and dielectric strength.
For oil-immersed transformers, high-grade electrical pressboard, crepe paper, and transformer oil are applied to build a robust insulation system with superior heat dissipation and electrical stability.
High-quality silicon steel laminations are stacked to form the magnetic core, while primary and secondary windings are carefully wound with insulated copper or aluminum conductors. Each layer of the winding is insulated and positioned to meet exact electrical clearances.
For dry-type transformers, the wound assemblies are placed into molds and subjected to epoxy resin casting under controlled vacuum or pressure conditions, forming a solid, durable insulation system. For oil-immersed transformers, the windings are installed into the in-house manufactured robust corrugated steel oil tank, followed by vacuum drying and precise oil filling to eliminate moisture and air, ensuring optimal insulation performance.
During assembly, each winding layer is carefully insulated and positioned with exact clearances, while all joints and connections are reinforced to withstand thermal and mechanical stress.
Before delivery, every transformer is subjected to a comprehensive series of factory tests to verify performance, safety, and compliance with international standards. Our transformer testing process includes routine tests such as winding resistance, ratio, no-load loss, and load loss, as well as dielectric and partial discharge tests to ensure electrical reliability.
